goodbye's and summertime activities

so we have had our share of goodbyes lately. :(


last week we said goodbye to grandma d....










and last night we said goodbye to chad's sister jess and her family as they are moving to arizona. we will miss them! but as dr. suess says "don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." and we are SO thankful for all the times spent with our family, near and far. we are TRULY blessed to have a loving supportive family on both sides. WE LOVE YOU ALL!


enough sappy-ness i would say... here is a couple pics of yesterday morning which seems to be a regular thing in my house these days - the girls playing Mario Kart Wii! Riley is quite the little racer... she can beat me no problem and has been known to beat Chad on occasion too. It's a fun thing to play as a family too.
