Does the ribbon look dumb on it? I wanted to hide my less than stellar job of stapling the fabric on. Frankly, I was being lazy, wait, i mean, pressed for time, so I just put the fabric right over top of the old, rather than doing it the “right” way and pulling the old stuff off first.

Is one supposed to remove the old fabric!? Oh, oh..., my headboard has a few layers of fabric, with too many staples. The stool is darling!
